Effective Communication in a Digital World

Sessions will include how to deliver engaging presentations and the benefits and risks of disseminating scientific knowledge through social media. Experts in media and communications will guide us through professional engagement in digital spaces.

Ten trainees will have an added opportunity to create their own video blog. Sign-up now by emailing the Training Program Coordinator (amanda.duncan@nshealth.ca) to secure your spot. Learn more about the video blog session by clicking here.

This year’s event will also feature a trainee poster session, with poster awards, and a breakfast to talk about the formation of a CCNA trainee society.

The call for trainee poster abstracts/travel award applications is now closed. We thank all trainees who submitted an abstract.

Trainee Poster Abstract Submissions Update

Thank you to all trainees who submitted poster abstracts for the CCNA Science Day poster session. All submissions that meet the general and trainee inclusion criteria will be subjected to an administrative review. Trainees will be contacted with poster format guidelines and additional criteria and expectations for the trainee poster competition.

 CIHR Travel Award Applications

A committee will carefully review all submissions and trainees who applied for a travel award will be notified of the results in September.

The CCNA would like to acknowledge our funding partners for the CIHR-CCNA Trainee Travel Awards, the Institute of Aging and the Institute of Neuroscience, Mental Health and Addiction of the Canadian Institutes of Health Research.
