Training Award for CCNA-Affiliated Postdoctoral Trainees in BC

New Opportunity – Research Training Award for CCNA-Affiliated Postdoctoral Trainees in BC

This is to let you know about a new opportunity for a postdoctoral training award open to CCNA-affiliated trainees in British Columbia. This represents additional funds only open to BC-based CCNA investigators. The award will be co-funded by the CCNA and the MSFHR and determined on a competitive basis. For this year, it will be limited to one Postdoctoral Researcher working on a CCNA project under the direction of a BC-based CCNA investigator. The duration of the award will be for one year.

This is part of the on-going 2017 MSFHR competition launched this month. To ensure that a submission can be identified for this award, in the full application the trainee must mention that they are CCNA-affiliated and/or their proposal represents a CCNA project.

Please note these important deadlines:

  • Letter of intent deadline: February 6, 2017
  • Full application deadline: March 6, 2017
  • Anticipated start of funding: September 1, 2017
