How to Apply
To apply for an award, please register for the conference and submit an abstract for presentation. You will then be automatically considered for a CIHR-CCNA Travel Award. The abstracts will be examined by a CCNA Conference Poster Review Committee that will decide on who will receive the travel awards.
Adjudication
- The Conference Poster Review Committee will review all eligible applications received by the submission deadline.
- Decisions will be based on the quality of the submitted abstract (Please see the Poster Abstract Submission Form for submission criteria) and availability of funds.
Administration of Award
- The CCNA Training and Capacity Building Program will inform all applicants (i.e., both successful and unsuccessful) in writing whether they have received an award.
- The notice of decision will be sent by Friday, August 5, 2016. All decisions are final and cannot be appealed.
Funds will be reimbursed following the meetings upon submission of ORIGINAL expense receipts within two months of the conclusion of the conference. Failure to do so will result in the forfeiting of the award. All claimed expenses must be compliant with the CCNA travel expenses reimbursement policy. Original receipts must be mailed to:
