Phase I and II Cross-cutting Programs

Cross-cutting Programs

CCNA’s Cross-cutting Programs have been priority areas since 2014. These programs had their own dedicated leadership and funding. They worked collaboratively with one another and provided guidance, resources, and training on their respective focus areas to all CCNA research teams and trainees.

This ensures that these important areas are considered and incorporated across all CCNA research and events.

CCNA’s Cross-cutting programs:

Training and Capacity Building / Lead: Manuel Montero-Odasso

Women, Sex, Gender, and Dementia / Lead: Gillian Einstein

Knowledge Mobilization / Leads: Carrie MacAiney and Howard Chertkow

Ethical, Legal and Social Implications / Leads: Julie Robillard and John Fisk

Engagement of People with Lived Experience of Dementia / Leads: Jennifer Bethell and Katherine McGilton

Indigenous Cognitive Health / Lead: Jennifer Walker, Lindsay Crowshoe and Pamela Roach

Stigma and Social Isolation Working Group / Leads: Sarah Fraser and Katherine McGilton

Most of these Cross-cutting Programs are still operating under a new umbrella: the Research Support Hub
